Attention southeast oppos, the first event of the 2014 season for North Alabama SCCA is this weekend! This is a great group of drivers and we have had 100+ drivers at some events last year. I did my first autocross last summer with the FR-S and I've been addicted ever since.
Location is Milton Frank Stadium, Huntsville, AL. This is HUGE parking lot. According to some of the older members, it's one of the best lots in the region. I think last year most of my runs on the courses here were 70+ seconds.
Event information is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Best part? Total cost is only $35 for SCCA members. I think it might be $40 for non-members. Checking the list today, there are already 64 drivers signed up. There are five (!) Toyobarus, including mine, in C Street.
Anyone thinking of coming, all you need is a car with 4 good tires, a well mounted battery, and no loose debris floating around your car than can hurt you. So, pretty much anyone can come. We are very friendly about taking passengers too, so spectating is fine.
